Glen Iris Junior Football Club is committed to promoting and protecting the safety and well-being of children and young people in our care.
We seek to promote and protect the rights of all children in our care and prevent abuse from occurring by fostering a child safe culture.
Glen Iris Junior Football Club will present environments and experiences that always consider and put measures in place to ensure the safety of children.
In support of this commitment, we have appointed Child Safety Officers, from different age groups, as an important part of ensuring junior members of our club feel safe and protected.
Children cannot stop child abuse. Adults can. So if any child or adult suspects an instance of child abuse, they can report this to one of our CSOs. They will comply with the required reporting procedure.
