AFL Victoria – helping to fund Ferrie Oval lighting
A couple of months ago we made an application to AFL Victoria for financial assistance to help us cover the $100,000 contribution we have agreed to make towards the cost of the new Ferrie Oval to be installed later this year.
Last week we received the very exciting news that our application had been successful and that AFL Victoria were going to provide us with $32,500 towards the Ferrie Oval lighting project.
This $32,500 payment is by far the largest grant or donation that the Gladiators have ever received and on behalf of everyone at the Gladiators I wanted to express my sincere thanks to Brad Scott and the team at AFL Victoria for making that happen!
The AFL Victoria grant also means that we have now raised the full $100,000 we will be contributing to the Ferrie Oval lighting project.
